As if you ever got tired of singing the Goblins vs Gnomes jingle whenever you open card pack, Blizzard has just announced Hearthstone’s second expansion, complete with a brand new little ditty.
Releasing in August, Hearthstone’s second expansion, The Grand Tournament, brings 132 new cards to one of the best (if not the best) free-to-play games on the market. Along with the cards, The Grand Tournament introduces a new minion keyword called “Inspire”, which activates after your Hero Power is used.
For example, a Paladin summoning a Silver Hand Recruit will cause the Lowly Squire card to gain +1 attack or the Nexus-Champion Sarrad to add a random spell to your hand.
In addition, a minor, but welcome change is also coming to the arena. With the release of The Grand Tournament, the arena matches will no longer award only Goblins vs Gnomes card packs, but each card pack available will have a chance to be won.
Oh, and there’s a new game board, if that tickles your fancy.
